computer filled with virus`s

New Member
basically my other computer has just got a few viruses, prevx 3.0 has found them but i do not have the full version so i cannot get rid of them with this software, i cannot get on the internet on that pc, firefox just crashes every time, what do i need to get rid of the viruses? is there any softwar that i can download to this computer then transfer to that computer? thanks any help welcome!
 
I would recommend downloading AVG Free and Malwarebytes. You might want to just download the latest version of FireFox and install that fresh too.

ive already got avg thats not finding anything at the moment what do you reccomend i do to get them on that pc as at the moment i cannot get on the internet on it, thanks sam

Download them on another computer and transfer them via USB.
 
shall i do a hijackthis report?

ive seen a few other people on the forum doing a hijack report thing, ive managed to get the internet on the other computer so shall i do this report and post the results? where do i download the program from? thanks sam
 
Yes also download Spybot


Before you do your scans right click "computer" go to properties and disable your "system restore" points. A lot of trojans make back ups there.

Then run maleware in safe mode and spybot to ensure you get rid of them.

Registry Cleaner
Combo Fix (Full System Clean - read more)
