Computer does'nt work

Hey everyone

*I am new to the forum, so I may be wrong about the correct location of this sort of posts. If so, please move this thread to the relevent place.


It has been several days since my computer won't start normally. When I turn it on, I get to this screen:

After I choose (any) option, It just returns back to this same screen. I have tried to keep it on for hours, but the same problem happens.

I can also say that the computer makes a lot of noises for a long time (It's pretty old, with windows XP ).

Can someone tell if it is possible for me to do anything in order to turn it on, without the help of an expert?

Most likely an issue with the operating system, hard drive or possibly infected with a rootkit. If you have no knowledge of computers you will need help determining what's going on. Do you know what brand of hard drive it is?

Try this. Turn system off. Wait a minute and turn it on. Immediately press f8 button to access safe mode options. Highlight disable automatic restart on system failure and hit enter. The system will start booting and hopefully bluescreen. We need to know what info is listed on it. If you can take a picture of it and post it.
