Computer clean up

My wife and I visit Cuba each year for our annual holidays. We always take gifts for the very poor but so happy and loveable people. We visited an orphange last year and the one thing they want is a laptop that they can all sit around to learn and watch films. Most of these children were orphaned by the terrible hurricanes that this country suffers year after year. I have 2 questions to ask.

1. I have been given a very old Toshiba Satellite for free to take to them. I do not have a user manual and wondered if anybody had a spare one they no longer use.

2. This computer is VERY old and is not looking its best. Is there anybody around the Herts are that could give it a good clean for me. If there is please would you contact me with a price?

These youngsters have so little compared to us, please help me to bring a little joy into their sad lived.

Thank you

The only one that is close to that model number is a Tecra. I looked on Google and it seems you have the right model number, Toshiba seems have just removed the laptop from it's site.

As for cleaning it, I'm not too sure how to go about remove scratches and such, but you could look into getting a skin or cover for it.

If you really want it to look nice, you can sand down the covers for the laptop and spray paint it. I've seen people do this with great success.
