Comp_Newb New Member Jan 13, 2009 #1 hey guys i have movies on my computer and want to burn them to dvd. After i compress them with WinRAR it changes from 700MB to 695MB. When i try to burn it to a disc, it says that the file is bigger than the disc can hold. any idea's guys?

laznz1 New Member Jan 14, 2009 #3 so lets say you backing up (which is legal) a dvd to burn to DVD try software like DVDshrink and Super to get better results LEGAL NOTE there is nothing illegal against "backing up" your dvd collection as long as you keep to the strict guide lines
