Cleaning up my sisters computer

This computer is a HP DV6256us
My sisters told me that here computer is "acting funny"
So i took the computer to help her clean it up. There was games, media players,media converters and junk she does not use on it. I uninstalled around 4 gigs of old programs she no longer uses.
I downloaded malwarebytes and it was not a huge surprise to me that she had a crap load of Adware in the registry.

One thing i dont know is why it is beeping sometimes. It is almost like a post code beep but its just a single, loud beep. It only happens when i try to X certain things off and sometimes when something comes up, for example it beeped when the notepad came up for the log of malwarebytes.:confused:
Any idea on what this could be?

It also had a hard time booting up. It went into some screen that tried to solve the problem but it did not fix it. Done this a couple times and it finally booted up fine. I done a test and shut it down and turned it back on and it seems to start up fine now.:confused:

I am still in the process of uninstalling the programs she does not use. So far here is the log file for malwarebytes. I will post up a hijack this log in a little bit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated on the problems i have.

Even though malwarebtyes cleaned that much help there still might be more involved. Please post a hijackthis log so we can take a look.

Download the HijackThis installer from here.
Run the installer and choose Install, indicating that you accept the licence agreement. The installer will place a shortcut on your desktop and launch HijackThis.

Click Do a system scan and save a logfile

Most of what HijackThis lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.

Post the logfile that HijackThis produces
 
i cant seem to run as Administrator. There is no option to right click and "run as administrator"
I went to properties and i cant seem to find out how to change it so i can run it as Administrator in the Security tab.
Any help?
 
Press and hold the shift key while right clicking on hijackthis and the option to run as admin will appear in the menu.

Sound driver is working correctly. Since i cleaned it up i have yet to hear the beep. When we first were trying to turn it on it was a pain in the butt. It was doing a full post code beep really loud. Shut it off a couple times and eventually got it to boot up. It seems to shut down and start up fine now.

Please tell me she doesn't use netzero internet?

A little bit of cleanup to do yet.

Go into add/remove programs and uninstall everything listed as viewpoint, such as viewpoint manager, viewpoint media player. If she doesn't use netzero then we need to do some more cleaning. Just let me know.
