Choice between Inspiron m5040 and n5040

Hey guys, just wanted to ask I have a choice to make on what laptop to have bought for me and it has to be between these two choices.

The 1st is the Dell Inspiron M5040 which has an amd e450 processor, 640gb HDD, 4Gb RAM (upgradeable to 8)

The 2nd is the Dell Inspiron N5040 which has a Intel Pentium Dual Core P6200 processor, 750Gb HDD, 4Gb RAM (upgradeable to 8)

Are either of these laptops good for standard laptop use and maybe some programs to do with web design and game design, and which would be the better choice.

Just an added note, I was just wondering if anyone had some more knowledge on which processor is better, I know about HDD space and stuff like that :P
 
These laptops are very difficult to change the hard drive. I personally won't get them, but if you like the challenge, then fine.

What's the price range you're looking to spend? As Paulcheung said, it's hard to replace the hard drive in there machines (you need to strip the entire machine down). I normally like Dell, but the design of these laptops is very stupid.
 
Well, my budget was about £280. These two laptops I've managed to get vouchers and discount on from family :) If there is anything else you would recommend then I would be happy to hear it.
