changing types of picture files

ok. So, Im using Fraps to take screenshots. I want to upload them to Facebook, but they are being saved as .bmp, and facebook doesnt recognize it. is there any way that I could change them to .jpg or .img so that i can upload them?
 
Been a long time since I used it, but cant paint do that. Just load the photo in paint, then click Save As and pick jpg
 
Another one of interest is freeware Irvfanview. Many pluggins for it available. Stupid stuff like batch renaming etc. including viewing movies etc.
worth looking at and maybe downloading. used for years.

ill try it out next time I take some screen shots. As for now, I already converted all the current ones using the paint method.
