CCleaner: can I use it?

Hi,
since my computer has been slowing down for a while now, I thought about using CCleaner.
Does anyone know about it and uses it without problems?

Yes you can use it. Don't do the registry cleaner just the regular one. Been using it for years without a problem.

I will second that. Again used for years, on Windows 7 and 10, but I prefer to go into settings and change it it to Custom Clean, and also I switch off both Smart Cleaning, and Auto Update, so I treat it as a utility and only run it when I choose. One other point is to check what you want to clean, if you clean all your browser info, you will have to keep allowing cookies etc. which can be annoying on sites you use regularly. But it is surprising how much junk it finds even in a short while.
