what does the 350MHz rating on a cat 5e cable mean? what are the differences between a cat 5e 350MHz cable and a cat 5e 500 MHz cable? which one is better for networking and directly connecting between computers or are they equvalent?
The 500 mhz cable was tested to a higher frequency rating, (obviously). If the prices are similar, get the 500, it will have a longer life in terms of capability.
MHZ just means freq--not speed, though there is a relation between the two.
