Hi,
I realise there are a few Casio Exlilim EX Series and may I know the differences and recommendations, please.

1. EX-Z1000
2. EX-S770
3. EX-Z700
4. EX-Z70

If I need a digital camera with good megapixel still inmages and also good movie resolution, which model should I choose?

Thank you..:)

I had an EX-Z50. It was an AWSOME camera however... After a few months, I noticed a set of dead pixles in every picture. Apparently something had gone wrong with the CCD. I heard this happened to some of the later cameras after mine too, so I don't know if this is still a problem or not...

Another problem I had with mine, the zoom was really bad. The f.stop dropped a good bit when going though telephoto which resulted in higher ISO and shutter settings(IE blurry/noisey pics) If you don't plan to use the zoom much, they are wonderful cameras. Some of my best macro's were taken using that EX-Z50

i currently have the s500 and its been absolutely blinding, pictures come out fantastic and the movie mode is pretty damn good too

I have the EX Z3 and its pretty good so far. it has lots of menu options available and usually the pictures turn out real good. But one bad thing is sometimes i have to keep it really still so it doesnt get blurry. (it might be my camera only because ive dropped it several times)

Hi,
Thanks for sharing. does anyone have any comments on the EX-Z series, especially the Z700 or Z770 models. Thanks.

:)
