I just bought a case to build a new computer and i think i screwed up. When i went to look for a motherboard i noticed that the input layout was not the same on the back of the case. the back of the case is layed out like my pentium three board with the mouse and keyboard first then the usb ports and so on . all the pentium boards i see are layed out different. can someone help me understand about the boards.

thanks

certain boards are made for certain cases. if you have an ATX Mobo, youll want an ATX case, BTX Mobo, BTX Case ect. youll have to find out the type of mobo and get the right case to accomidate it.

I think he is talking about the motherboard IO sheild. (Do a google for it). Anywho, you will need to pop out the one in the case and replace it with the one that came with your motherboard.
