Case Modding - Part 1 (the planning)

OK, I am doing some slight case modding. Nothing real fancy (i am not cutting any metal). I want to paint the grey part inside the case:

11-156-135-S09


And perhaps the back as well:

11-156-135-S08


If I paint the back, then I will paint it black. But on the inside, I can't decide if I should paint it a glossy black or glossy red. I am getting red fans. Or may a completley different color?

Opinions please :)
 
^^I would recommend using matte paint for the black, because dust will show alot more with gloss paint, as will fingerprints.

I would paint the back of it black so the exterior is all black, then do a gloss red interior.

Thats more what I was thinking too. And thanks for the info on the black paint :). What about the red? This should probably be a slightly darker red, right?

Personally as far as the red goes, im not too sure. Havent done much case painting with red, although as long as you dont go bright fire engine red it should probably look pretty nice. For the red, gloss will show a bit more dust, but being inside the case it wont have as much of a chance to get fingerprinted and such, and gloss red inside a case looks slick, while matte red doesnt have as much of a "wow" factor i guess you would call it.

And another idea if you ever upgrade your power supply, the Corsair HX620 or Pc power & cooling 750W in red would look pretty sick with a red interior;)

Alright, thanks. I bought this psu:

17-341-022-S01


which is why i bought 3 red led uv 80mm fans. THat started the whole painting idea :)

Go with red outside and inside, just because it is different. You see people with black cases, but when you see a red case it's like "omg a red case sahweet" (okay it might just be me not seeing many red cases). It should look good either way.

Well, I don't plan on painting the whole case, just the inside and the back side. Grey is ugly.
