I have a Linux system running Ubuntu. I am using samba to share files with my XP machine. I can see the Linux comp in my network places but when I go to access it it comes up with a password authentication message. I did not set up an password protection on the folder and I have tried using the login from the account i'm using on the Linux machine but nothing seems to work.
