Can't install modem (help asap)

I've been having problems with my computer but I think I've sorted it all.

One problem remains - I can't install the modem (BT voyager 105). Whenever I go to install it, it says:

'You must reboot your computer to complete the installation."

So, I reboot the computer, and when it logs in again, I get the same message - 'You must reboot your computer to complete the installation." It just keeps saying this over and over whenever I try to install it.

I have no idea why this is happening. I downloaded the latest drivers from the website onto a floppy, but my computer doesnt detect the floppy disk, so I can't use it.

Help ASAP please. Thanks.

You could try....

Try disconnecting/Uninstalling everything that has anything to do with the modem, all cables etc, re-boot computer. Go make yourself a brew and slowly
start again.

i agree with elmarcorulz...the bt voyager is a usb modem you install the drivers then attach the modem only when it asks you to...however i have had this problem before it took 6 trys at uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers...all i can say really

I had this problem with the Voyager 205 Modem, all I did in this case was like what was said earlier, made a brew and follow the installion incredibly slowly.

Just take your time with it, and don't rush the installion process.

Check Device Manager...Go in there and view hidden devices and see if your modem shows up. If so, get rid of it, reboot and start your installation process over again.
