Cant go safe mode or boot

I cant go in safe mode on windows xp ,
the monitor is not connecting before it shows login.

i tried to click F2 and F8 many times but nothing is happning.

Help ?

the monitor is not connecting? what do you mean?, and why do you want to use safe mode anyway?
