In Black Ops if you want to say something to the other players you click onto
consol and type what you want to say. With a bind you type what you want to say in config_mp.cfg then you hit the key that your bind is set to,say f1
and then you dont have to open the consol all the time.I cannot find my config_mp.cfg which is in C/Program Files(x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/call of duty black ops/ players because i cannot find it on my computer.Does that make sense.:)

So it stores a file of your ingame logs on your computer? And you're having trouble finding the location of these logs? If that's correct, I suggest opening start menu and entering tags or keywords of anything you remember matching the filename of the bind. Try entering 'black ops' and see what turns up, you may have overlooked something.

Everything Search

I would suggest you download the totally free Everything Search it's a tiny 0.84MB installed and there is even a Portable version if you want.
Everything Search is fast and so easy to use, it lists everything and then the list gets shorter as you type what you are searching for.

I suggest you try searching for .cfg first and if that doesn't get the results you want then keep trying different combinations like Steam and read the results as you type, there is no waiting for the list to propagate like with Windows search.
When you find the the correct result then the address will be there for you to see, if there is a folder address then double clicking on it will open that folder.

don't look into it. just use windows search feature to find the exact file you are looking for. if it doesn't pop up, it isn't there

Wow! That sounds so much like the windows 7 operating system!
