Can't enter text?

Recently I have been unable to enter text into certain forms and so on. I'll try to explain...

I have had the problem on both the Corel Paintshop Pro activation screen and in Internet Explorer when trying to log into any website such as CF or AOL.

I can't actually select the login form. Like I click but where it would usually show the blinking cursor it doesn't... the box just stays blank and I am unable to type anything in to it. It works with Firefox and everything but not IE or the Corel activation screen...

I have no idea what could be causing this... is it a known problem?
I'm running XP Pro SP3.

Try the quick heal trial version and check for virus
I think its a virus case and try uninstalling paintshop

I'll scan with Kaspersky and Malwarebytes first...

It looks like a spyware infested crap version of Kaspersky.

First id start with running a panda online scan, then posting a HJT log.
