After i reformatted my new comp, it doesn't seem to be able to connect.
Both computers are connected to a D-link dl-524 wireless router, but they are wired xD.
I followed the instructions in the manual book of how to connect, but it still doesn't work. It can't even connect to http://192.168.0.1... any solution to this problem??

what OS do you have on both PC's ?
what does " wired xD mean " ?
do you have both PC's connected directly to the router ?
what type of broadband do you have ?
was the second pc able to connect to the internet before you reformatted the HD of the first pc,?...if so it should be connecting now ????

One computer is running on windows xp sp1 and the other is SP2.
Both comps are directly connected to the router,
im using optus cable broadband

pc 1 and pc 2 could both hit the internet. ...right ?
pc1 was formatted...right ?
pc1 can not get on the internet after format.....right ?
now this is what I need to know....can pc 2 hit the internet now, after the format ?

If they both can not hit the internet...try turning off your cable mode, router and pc's

then turn on the cable modem, wait a minute for it to sync up, then the router , wait a few, then the pc's..

eerrr -_-.. your confusing me even more argh... lol

don't worry, i somehow fixed it, it seems that the network card was not installed when i reformated...
all useless now>.<, computer can't even start up ... argh
