Can't connect through IP

I just bought a router, it's an Edimax BR-6104WB. I've connected 2 computers on the router, one wireless and my computer with a cable, everything is working fine, but when I try to find a game via IP, it can't find any games, but when I connect my computer directly on the modem (so without the router) I can find and join games, all other online games where you don't have to connect through IP are working fine with the router. So the problem must be in my router, on the other computer, the games that need to connect through ip also don't work. I've tried forwarding ports, but that doesn't work either. the games that don't work online via IP so far are: Command & Conquer Generals, Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour, Age of empires 2

Perhaps it's a firewall issue?

Make sure that you allow the ports needed to send and recieve traffic.

the firewall on my router is disabled, and it's also not the firewall on my computer cause I can play online if I connect directly to the modem, so without the router.
