Can you solve my webcam woes?

I'm new to this forum, but it seemed like the perfect place to get input about a question I've been researching for a couple of weeks.
We're about to welcome our first child (any day now!) and it got me wondering:
is there a cheap wireless camera that could double as a webcam?

Rather than buying a $250 baby monitor with video and sound monitoring, we decided it would be cheaper to buy a wireless surveillance camera that we could view on our computer (which we have hooked up to our TV as the monitor). http://www.amazon.com/LYD-W203E1-Wireless-Channels-Transmission/dp/B003VNKN2S
Is there any way of using this audio/video of our newborn as a webcam so we can skype with the rest of the family? I'm hoping it can be done for $50 or $60, but I'm new to all things tech, so I thought I'd get some opinions before blowing my money.

Thank you for any direction on this issue!!

yeah I dont know what you're going about there
but i do believe you're way over complicating things
grab a cheap webcam on newegg or amazon or geeks.com for $20-50
grab a wireless cam and plug it into a tv for a baby monitor amazon $30-60
if you wanted to stream the baby monitor over skype you could grab a usb capture card, but i would not use the wireless cam as a webcam otherwise.
answer your question?
