You just about reach the minimal requirements. These are always set low, so they can sell more PCs. Which game and what resolution do you play at?

Your video card is roughly equivalent to the Intel 4000 in the min requirements. You should be able to run it, but it won't look great.

A 5450 is similar to a A4, and a 5450 should average 25 FPS at low, 800x600. So it won't be a good experience but it should be playable.

Thanks all. I appreciate it. The game is the DayZ Standalone Alpha.

Best of luck to you. DayZ I think uses the same engine as Arma 2 and thats a pretty demanding game, even on my PC. Lowest settings is probably all you will be able to manage, I cant even max it with my PC very well. Havent even tried Arma 3 yet but I want to. Given that its a pretty CPU intensive game, I wouldnt expect the AMD to handle it very well. But I could be wrong.

Yeah Arma engine seems to really dislike the architecture of AMD chips. If you haven't bought it yet, I wouldn't. It won't run very well at all so unless you have a high tolerance for bad framerate you're going to have a bad time.

Arma is a terrible game. It's a "dad" game. It was the most un-fun I've ever had.

Meh. I liked it. The engine is actually great for what it is, being able to render the entire island all at once with all the AI is certainly its strong point doing so without bringing the computer to absolute halt.

As for fun, I got bored with it quick but there is alot you can do if your into war games.

ArmA is awesome. Yes it will smash your computer if you want maximum settings, and yes its about as far from COD as you can get, but its no Dad game. Waiting for Aasati to speak up here ;)

As for vishera CPUs, they get raped in many games not just ArmA - about 30% less than a 4770K.

Eitherway, we're off topic, this is about a single game, on integrated GPU. It will be terrible.

Thanks. Maybe ill look into upgrading some stuff before buying. If you're interested in looking at what my idea's are, I have a thread in "Desktop Computers" called "Good Gaming PC, new to computers here". Some others were helping me pick out a new GPU and CPU, maybe what i have picked out will run it flawlessly. (Hopefully)

It's not just Vishera, my Phenom really struggled with it too. Updating to the 8320 did very little for helping frames.

GTA4 and Arma are the only games I've seen where an AMD chip struggles in the gaming department. And of course the 4770K will win versus the 8320/8350. Very different price brackets.

If we ask Aasati, and if he's still into Yahtzee Croshaw like his profile picture would suggest, then he may agree with me. Here.

I think we need to define what a "dad" game is.
