CAble TV and Cable Internet

Hello,

I have a cable tv connection in my bedroom. Is there some device that I can buy that will allow me to use the cable in my bedroom for TV and a cable internet connection?

For a basic cable connection you wouldn't be able to use it for online application. That is strictly a one way street of signal coming in. You local cable may not even have cable IE available. For online use you would have to consult them to see if that option is available. They would then provide the hardware(modem or router).

Yeap, your going to need to consult your cable company first, I had to have an amplifier installed to boost my cable signal so the modem could receive a signal. I would get a cable modem, put a wireless router next to it, secure your wireless network, and then be able to go anywhere without the cords.

well i do know when adelphia was around it was all tied into one line for the cable and the internet and also time warner does the same thing.
