Buying Headphones: RF or Bluetooth?

I need wireless headphones to use in two ways:

1) with my laptop which has Bluetooth
2) with my desktop PC which does not have Bluetooth

I don't need anything expensive, but I don't want the cheapest either. I know I do not want IR.

If I get Bluetooth, what do I need to use them with my desktop PC?

If I get RF, do I need any extra hardware to use them with my laptop and could I use them with my desktop PC through the wireless router?

With desktop, you can use usb bluetooth adaptor.

RF headphone - it seems to me those headphone would have a base, not idea when you using it for laptop where you want it portable.

While for bluetooth, you can use it on laptop/ mobile phone/ desktop
