thanks for replying. I've decided to put off buying a gaming computer for a bit but when I start looking for one again I'll be sure to post on the forums for a little help before I buy :)

some options

i could make a System for you

if you are wanting a lower budget:
CPU - Intel i5 3.3 GHz Quad-Core (6MB L3 Cache)
GPU - Intel HD 3000 or EVGA GeForce GTX 560 1 GB
PSU - 600 Watts
HDD - 1 TB 7200 RPM 6gb/s
RAM - 4GB DDR3 240-pin
total Price: 850

or a little more intense:
CPU - Intel i7 3.4 GHz Quad-Core (8 MB L3 Cache)
GPU - Intel HD 3000 or EVGA GeForce GTX 560 1 GB
PSU - 750 Watts
HDD - 1.5 TB 7200 RPM 6gb/s
RAM - 8GB DDR3 240-pin
total Price: 1100

CPU - AMD Phenom II X6 Black Thuban 3.3 GHz Hexa-Core (6 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache)
GPU - Radeon HD 6850 1GB
PSU - 650 Watts
HDD - 1.5 TB 7200 RPM 6gb/s
RAM - 8GB DDR3 240-pin
ODD - BluRay/DVD/CD

total Price: 1000

the first two dont contain ODD but they can be added as either internal or external

these might limit your support to me or any other geeks (Best Buy geek squad)
though you could call Newegg (where i get my components) they could help

most warranties are normally around 3 years or more (except HDD and ODD)

all come with Home Premium 64 bit but can be changed to any windows or Linux (and price will change)

hardware can also change. i have many compatible components to choose from
get back to me at [email protected]
we can talk about what might be best for you

there are other people on this forum that are well known and known to be trustworthy that'll do the same as that guy, i wouldn't let a random guy who links an email do anything for me, but that's just me and i can't say he's not trustworthy, but you never know with random guys on the intewebz
