But Logitech G51 or keep X-540?

I bought a set of Logitech z-540's a couple weeks back and love them. But, I just stopped at a new Pawn Shop in town and they have a set of Logitech g51's for $60!! Just wondering which one you guys think is better? Either way i'll probably pick them up and sell them on ebay b/c I know I can get atleast $100 out of them.

Eh, without doing some research they look about the same to me. Just test them both out and see which you like best.

I love the G51's. Unless you have a 5.1 card, stay with your z-540's cause the matrix mode on the G51 sucks.

But I like the G51's better personally

I have 7.1 onboard audio. I suppose I should invest in a dedicated sound card?

But, for $60 I dont think I could pass it up

Actually the onboard audio these days is pretty on par with standard cards. Probably not as good as say X-fi cards, but still pretty good.

X-Fi is a pretty big umbrella name...there are some pretty bad X-Fi cards as well.

Personally, I would never listen to a sound card that mangles audio by forced resampling.
