building a server need advice

I'm building a server for my home. Just a little project. I need a little help deciding on which motherboard/ram config to go with. I am on a budget that is why I need some help...

option 1:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-965p-dq6 lga775 p965 express ATX
Ram: 2 x 2GB DDR2 800 SDRAM PC2 6400

option 2:
Motherboard: ASUS P5WDG2-WS PRO Socket T LGA 775 Intel 975X
ATX Server Motherboard
Ram: 2 x 2GB DDR2 667 SDRAM PC2 5300

iam not much of a hardware man but DDR2-800 seems preferable over DDR2-667 does it not?
