I've searched up a little bit on how to build a pc like every component i need. I know all about whats good and what the specs mean iv just never actually looked into the assembly of a computer. Do you need any extra cables? or when you buy all the equipment is that all i need? like if i bought a barebones computer and put it together through that.

thanks

You will most likely need SATA or IDE cables, whichever your motherboard has or what hard drives you are using.

Also, please post what you have bought or intend to buy, and we can give advice.

Also, consider what case structure you are going to use. If you are going with some kind of window case, you will want some better looking cabling than what might be provided with the hardware anyway....

in my experience, if you buy retail, it will usually come with necessary cables and screws and such. with oem, you will need to shop for whatever cables you need.
