building a new computer need help

building a new computer and i was wondering if the CREATIVE Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro Sound Card is a good sound card or just some expensive piece of crap

and do i need intel pentium for it cuz i was planning on using a AMD 64 4200+ and geforce 7800 video card
 
any reason not to go with onboard? Personally i think a seperate sound card is the realm of absolute sound gurus. Just pick up a motherboard with 7.1 onboard sound and your sorted.
 
any reason not to go with onboard, i dont rly like onboard b/c i listen to alot of music and play alot of games so i notice a difference. the audigy4 is not at all a waste of money, considering u do intense audio editing, and if u dont then get an audigy 2 zs.
AND FOR THE LAST TIME MAKE A THREAD IN DEKSTOP COMPUTERS
