my computer gets a blue screen randomly, though it does it everytime i run the app "ps3 media server" (doesnt only do it when this app is open though) its a java program so i thought it might be a java thing though i'm not sure...

when i turn the computer back on it gives me the message saying windows recovered from a fatal error and gives me weird info that i dont understand then says for more info look at these 2 files( one is WER-43196-0.sysdata.xml and the other is 020611-28267-01.dmp) i zipped them and uploaded them on 4shared incase you guys need to find the error http://www.4shared.com/file/gq0NXBk1/bluescrean.html

thanks guys this is frustrating

it has done it for a long time so i don't know what i could have installed, it didn't bother me to much at first cause it was random, sometimes it would be a week before it did it other times it would do it within 10 minutes after starting. it really anoys me now cause i cant run ps3 media server and stream video's to my playstation, within abour 2 minutes of starting the server it gets a bluescreen

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000000a (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff800028d48b6).

this one is really common i have alot of these in the event viewer

Do you have any overclocks? If you do, take them off and see if your system is stable. If it is still unstable without, or if you do not have any overclocks in the first place, download and run memtest from here:

http://hcidesign.com/memtest/download.html

else make a bootable copy of it from here:

USB: http://www.memtest.org/download/4.20/memtest86+-4.20.usb.installer.zip

CD: http://www.memtest.org/download/4.20/memtest86+-4.20.iso.zip

If you make a bootable copy, you may have to change your boot device priority in your BIOS so that it boots from the correct device.

You will want to run memtest for 8+ Hours, overnight would probably be the best bet. If it shows any errors at all, you can say with almost complete certainty that your memory is the source of your problems

i have no overclocking done, though i have thought about it =P i wouldn't mind better performance from my ati-x1650

i looked at my dmp file and it says the failure was from amd driver. so that makes me point to my processor(its a amd quad core 9600) i did some research on it and i guess im not alone in this, the 9600 is known for giving out bluescreens when a 64bit os is installed, they say if you disable one of the cores the bluescreens will stop... anyone know how to disable a core?
