Blue Screen Annoyance

Well I never get Blue Screens but I've been held hostage for the last 24 hours by a very annoying BSOD.

This is what I get.

INTERRUPT_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

mv91xx.sys

Someone help me as it's starting to really piss me off.

I can't even remember the last time I got a BSOD and I'm unsure what to try/change.

I set my overclock back to default and the only recent changes I've done were update to latest Nvidia driver 285.62, and 2 windows updates.

Well, according to asus's website there are no marvell controllers in your system. Are you sure you have the correct drivers installed? Look in device manager and let me know what lists a marvell controller? They are usually sata or network drivers.

Yes, running win7 pro x64.

I'll try the driver you linked and let you know asap.

Thanks for the assistance John

Well, thus far its not crashing out!!

Thanks John...glad it was an easy fix and I really appreciate you knowing what to do so fast..!

cheers

Spoke too soon.

same BSOD and crashed out after being okay for 15 minutes.

I've removed the mv911 driver...I'll wait and see what happens.

Any other suggestions? Do I even need this driver?

It's the ahci driver, and if you are running in ahci mode and reboot, then it won't boot.

Are you running in ahci mode? If so you need to reinstall the driver. Then you might want to check windows update for an updated driver.
