I personally Like Logitech. But open to anything. I want to be able to play my music on iTUnes and Video Games on good sound quality. Just dont know where to start. My room is pretty big i have some ledges above my closet for prime speaker placement. room is maybe 20 by 12 estimating.
 
Well it just wasn't clear, i thought it was what he meant, but didn't want to go down the wrong track.

Well 5.1 = Logitech X 540's and Creative Audigy Sound Card. - I have this and i love it! The sound is good, i'm running Vista using itunes and it sound fantastic!
 
pokethesmot You honestly have car amps hooked up to your computer for sound??? With subs???

Roncharlespatton, this is what I have and it pounds my bedroom! It didn't even cost much for the set up. Music sounds great and the games even better:)

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz for $24

The speakers were a local deal, Logitech sub and two dual cone speakers I got for $30. As you can see I did not spend much for the system, I just plugged it together and it works. All it took me was about $50 and I can shake my whole house:)

lol i got a date in just a little bit but after i get back around 1 ile post some pics and the coolist thing is my subs are water cooled
