Biquad antenna

Hmm

Frankly I do not know what you mean. The signal travels from the pigtail, into the antenna and another device connects to it. What are you worried about? I have a omnidirectional WIFI antenna on my roof and it sends/receives signals. I do not know of any circumstance where the signal would go in a loop.

JAN :D

I will connect the biquad antenna (which will receive signals from a certain wisp miles away, I hope) to the Linksys with a pigtail.

The Linksys in turn will send signals to, and receive them from, my laptop.

Since the biquad receives signals, will it receive the signals the Linksys sends (some of which would be the very signals the Linksys would have just received from it)?

I was wondering what is the point of finding areas of use? Are you able to connect to the network if it is unsecured?

It's for my dad who lives way out in the woods, no cable, aol hell. He has a friend several miles away who does have a high-speed wireless connection. So we'll see if they're in a line of sight too.
