Bing activation email not coming through, 3 weeks now, bing sucks

I bought a computer 3 weeks ago from zipzoomfly, followed the instructions for the 20% bing cash back, and I've got Nothing! I'm supposed to get an activation email from bing and then supposedly my cashback will come through. I opened an issue with bing / microsoft support and many emails later it remains unresolved. The sticking point, according to Bing, is that their activation email is not getting to me. My ISP is Comcast. I contacted them about it. Comcast said Bing needs to fill out an online form, which I forwarded on to Bing. Bing got back to me and said they filled it out and resent the activation email. WTF. Bing can't send an email, or just attach it to their support email (which I receive just fine cuz its coming from microsoft.com). How inept! How about just activating my account for me! Too bad they're not a technology company so they could figure out how to do this. I suppose it would cost a lot of money to outsource that all the way to India, so I guess I can understand that.

Anyone else have activation problems with Bing/Microsoft/ZipZoomFly? The lack of action is just unbelievable. Why would they put together a promotion if it doesn't work?

I hate to say it, but I'm guessing you did something wrong. I have bought at least five items now through Bing search and gotten cashback on all of them.

+1

I haven't bought anything off of it, but i know others that have. Microsoft aren't exactly scammers after all, they seem to usually be pretty good on the basics, so it would be either a freak, unfortunate anomoly or you messed up somewhere inadvertantly

They still can't get an email to me

Comcast is not blocking them, I have no filters or antispam software. I don't understand how the activation email isn't going thru. Perhaps they should use Thunderbird instead of that crappy stuff they use. I've never had an email never go thru using tb, lol. Only microsoft is still struggling with this latest craze called email.
