Billion 5100 router problems

I can't remember when, but a while ago, when i tried to connect to my router, and it wouldn't let me get in. It won't even get to the part where it comes up asking you to log in. I need to use this for port forwarding etc. I can access it, but it is not a very practical way of doing it, to do this, i have to reset the router, wait for it to come back online, then i have a limited amount (roughly 1min) of time for me to get into the NAT settings, put the ports and ip addresses in then save and apply them. But after that limited time, i cannot access it, until i reset the router and do it all again. Can someone please help me?

Why do you only have a minute to get in? Do you not have the password or anything? how do you log in? //192.168.0.1 or somthing close to that? You should always have full access to the router while it is on.

Trizoy is right. that is quite odd. go to a command prompt, and type in ipconfig/all (assuming you have 2k or xp). look for the default gateway. that is your routers address. put that in your address bar and you should be able to access the routers CP.
