I currently have a Linksys WRT54GL wireless router and a WMP54GS PCI Adapter card but i only get low or very low signal, is there anything i can do to get a better signal without spending a lot of money?

Probably about 150', its down one floor and on the opposite end of the house

The best obvious solution would be to move either the computer(s) or router, but if thats not possible, you can try upgrading your router and wireless card to an 802.11g with something such as speedbooster or rangemax. Or you can buy a draft-n router and card, which have longer range and faster speeds.
Or if you dont want to buy anything too expensive, buying new antennas may help.
BTW, which type of wireless are you using? (a, b, g, n, etc)

I am using wireless g, moving the router is gonna be a pain but i can do it, what do you think of this
