need a good wireless router to service 2 laptops and one pc...hooks up to dsl..dont know anything about routers..

Any router is capable of doing that. I would look for an 802.11b/g wireless router from a well-known company, such as Belkin, D-Link, Linksys, etc.

ok can you recomend me one? how much od they usualy go for? i just had a linksys router and it broke really fast and i didnt have a great time trying to get a refund/exchange...ive heard that belkin is pretty reliable?

That looks like a good router, but in order to achieve 108Mbps you also need a D-Link wireless card that supports the high-speed.

what the hell....whats a d-link wireless card, where do i get it, how much, and is it worth it???

You can use the wireless card built into laptops, but you wont reach the 108Mbps speed, only 54Mbps.

You would need to buy a PCMCIA or USB D-Link card, but IMO it wouldnt be worth it.

so no laptops can go past 54 Mbps? how about mine(seen in sig)?

If you buy a D-Link router that can reach speeds up to 108Mbps, you need a D-Link wireless card. If you have a 108Mbps Linksys, you need a Linksys card. It's because each company has their own way of reaching 108Mbps, and most likely another manufacturers card wont be compatible with it.
