best speakers for my SB X-FI 7.1 card

well as you can tell, I have a new SB X-FI 7.1 sound card, and I currently have a 2.1 logitech system that isnt the best, but sounds alright.

I was wondering what setup I should with to get the most out of my sound card, I most use speakers for gaming, movie watching and I also listen to music pretty much throughout the entire day.

I honestly do not think I have the room for seven speakers, but I will take any recommendations. (I was thinking logitech g51 setup)

You have the option for 5.1 if you don't have space for any 7.1 setup. Logitech makes some great speaker sets for less then seen with other brands.

Here I grabbed a 5.1 set about 4yrs. and not one complaint to offer on sound quality for anything including some gaming, music, watching movies, importing video, and even patching cable tv with a tuner card. They also make excellent keyboards and mice in that area as well.

Yeah, i can vouch for the quality of logitechs speakers. I have the Z-5500's, i love the control pod because it has a remote control that i can use to change the volume while watching a movie(my monitor is .6" bigger than my tv and closer to my bed, so i can see it a bit better) and the sound quality is simply amazing. The bass on these speakers is well worth it. I havent heard the G51 speakers, but i know for a fact that the sound quality isnt going to be quite as good, and the bass isnt going to be as thunderous. One thing for sure, get logitech speakers no matter what you end up getting, you get logitech speakers and you will love them(I love everything i have logitech, keyboard, mouse, etc) Also, if you get the Z-5500's tiger has them cheaper than newegg atm($240 vs $267)

ya, i am close to pulling the trigger on those, the seem amazing for the price according to all the reviews...as for logitech, i love that company. I have only owned logitech keyboards and mice and I have had two logitech speaker sets...including the x-230s I have now ( I will probably put them up on ebay soon )

Recently I replaced an MS keyboard for a Logitech cordless model. The two things to note are now I don't have to plug in a PS/2 model to answer a license agreement as seen with the MS multimedia usb with PS/2 adapter and there's no caps lock or numlock lights unfortunately. But it's still programmable.
