Best Place to Buy Computer Parts in Canada?

Places that i've considered so far:
Newegg.ca
tigerdirect.ca
ncix.com
bestdirect.ca
directcanada.com
canada computers

The best prices seem to be available from bestdirect.ca and directcanada.com (freeshipping from both) but they also have fewer deals/rebates and they don't seem to be as popular.

Has anyone had any problems with those sites compared to some of the more popular sites like newegg and tiger direct?

I'll be building systems and It appears that I can only take advantage of rebates once so that takes away from the advantage of newegg, along with the shipping costs.

Living in the USA, I've only purchased from Tigerdirect and Newegg. When I ordered my computer case from Newegg, LiamLi Lancool PC-K62. I started receiving calls from someone claiming to be employed by UPS and requested $50 moneygram for shipping.

Neither Newegg or UPS could explain, at the time I was employed with UPS and contacted my hub manager, he was the only person willing to get to the bottom of things. Not sure what happened, but it's not happened since.

No one can explain how anyone got my private information, order information, date of delivery, and so on.
Never had that issue with Tigerdirect, but a recent purchase of the same item from newegg and tigerdirect resulted in a product from tigerdirect with older, outdate firmware than the exact same item from newegg. Price was similar though.

I though, NCIX has a site for Canada that is separate from the US site?

I only use Canadacomputers and NCIX.

It's almost impossible to find those free-shipping deals on newegg. tigerdirect and directcanada are either a bit more pricey or the same.

NCIX frequently posts free-shipping deals on certain items with weekly deals coming out every wednesday night EST.

Canadacomputers is cheaper when it comes to monitors, SSDs, HDDs, and Computer cases in my opinion.

I guess it will mostly depend on shipping in the end.
Bestdirect.ca and directcanada.com have free shipping on orders over a certian amount.
I'll have to find out what other places do that. I don't think Newegg does that.
I had originally dismissed Canada Computers because they're a retail establishment but it looks like some things are a bit cheaper from them.
Thanks for the help guys.

I find tiger direct is brutal for mail in rebates. I typically use Canada Computers or NCIX.

I like to look for the best deals, and usually end up buying parts on multiple different websites. Newegg usually has a lot of good deals, but the all time heavy weight champion in having good deals in definitely e-bay, you can save a lot of money buying components from there. A good example would be my gtx 480, I got it new on e-bay for $150 while it costed ~$200 on all other websites, and no it was not an auction.

Have to be careful on ebay however, if it's not an authorized retailer the chance is good that warranty won't be valid (For warranties that require proof of purchase, some manufacturers are starting to also allow you to RMA based on manufacture date).
