First of all I hope I'm posting in the right category. It's my first thread.

I'm new to pc building and am wondering what setup in the bios will give me the best performance whether gaming or just going for a decent benchmark?
So if this was your setup how would you configure it?

My system info is below in the signature area. My mobo is an ASROCK AM2NF3-VSTA. Because I'm using a Athlon x2 6000+ Brisbane I'm running my ram like it's pc6400 dual channel. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Oh, forgot to mention Wednesday night after having a tech give a second opinion about my setting. I came home plugged everything in and low a behold after only 3 or 4 minutes of benchmarking my pc completely shut down!

Fortunately for me it seems to only be my power supply. I had an old 300 watt psu laying around so I used it to see if it still had any life. It didn't boot or anything but i did start for a second or two. That was enough for me. So yesterday I picked up a new case and psu. The case was just so I could have something for my old Athlon XP 3000+ setup. Yep, I still have one.lol Anyways, the power supply was a Antec Neo HE 550. I transferred everything over to the new case and it powered up without a problem. Come to find out the 500 watt psu I had was a OKIA 500.

Maybe I should get an AMD chipset board and a new gpu and call it a day.
