Hi guys,
im in need of desperate help i had a D-link wireless router that i have had for a couple of years and was working fine till it decided to pack up the other
day but i had expected that soon as it was hard worked and old now. It ran one wired computer two wireless desktops and a wireless laptop with no problems. I went to buy a new one and ended up with a new belkin mimo g+ wireless modem router i was advised to buy two more belkin mimo g+ usb network card i did so and now have a problem. I installed the router and that works fine on the wired computer and the laptop i have full internet access but on the two desktop which i fitted the new network cards to. They connect to the router but will not connect to the internet any one got any ideas?
thanks in advance Chris

This happened to my computer when i got my Belkin router, i have the usb stick though. You know down in your system tray is the little belkin wireless utility red or green?

I also can't remember how i sorted mine. oh wait, it might have had something to do with channels, set a static channel on your router.

Thanks for your reply the icon is red and the static channel i was told to set it from auto to six if thats what you mean any other suggestions
many thanks chris

ps. good result for the forrest on the weekend lol

2 - 0, what more can you ask for, Chelsea away next round and guess what........I'm going.
:D Come on you reds!!!:D

1. Does windows say anything about an ip conflict?
2. Try going into Belkin and clicking on options tab, then click for you to use Windows wireless utility instead.

What is your routers default gateway?
What are the ip addresses of the other computer, laptops?
What is the ip address of the computers using the wireless?
