Belkin Router

My cousin has a crappy cheapo Belkin from Target. He keeps getting booted offline. Do you think its his modem or the router?

Think he would have a more stable connection if he had a Cisco or something like that?

Have them connect directly to the modem and see if the disconnects still happen. If not then its the router. Belkin routers tend to overheat alot and kills the wireless.

I hate belkin. I recommend what was already mentioned. Have him connect to the modem, if that still happens, then go get a linksys. $50 and no more hassle.
