I just purchased this adapter after trying a netgear card that crashed my computer. Has anyone used this and what happened, after purchase I read a lot of negative reviews on amazon. Thanks, Buck

You will usually read bad reviews about everything, as the problems faced are usually user error.. Just make sure you have the latest drivers, and everything should be fine. Belkin is a name brand company... Dont worry about it.

that usb stick is fine, it is often the one that comes bundled with the belkin router kits. I have one on my printer server and it has no problems

I solved the problem, I took it back to CC and got credit. Have now tried the adapter and the card and they both put my puter in a loop and would not shut down or reboot, had to restore the system with both devices I tried. I think I will give up on the wireless and just use the dial up for my spare puter that I am tinkering with. Does anyone know how I can get this to go wireless. I would be able to use neighbor's wifi as it is unsecured, I use it on my good notebook that has wifi built into it. Thanks for any suggestions, Buck
