Hi guys,
I am planning on building my first PC and i am looking for some advice and your opinions on the parts that i have picked out so far. As of right now i have a 1Tb sea-gate hard drive(only about a year old) that i plan on using. with the parts that i have pick out i am at about $700 and don't want to go to much higher so that i can still afford a monitor. Please be completely honest about these parts so that i can make a quality computer.

and as far as an Optical drive, I'm not to concerned about that and picking one out shouldn't be that hard.

looks like you got it. I like the Antec 300, but it looks and feels just like the price tag says.
HAF 912

The power-supply is bottom mounted in your case so the fan needs to be on the bottom of the PSU.The one you chose is, most are but sometimes you find one that has to be differant. You should also consider a differant brand, as the PSU is key to keeping your products alive. You don't want to experience burnt up MOBO or other key parts.

Like said, get rid of that power supply. They're crap. Go for a seasonic/silverstone/antec/corsair/pc power and cooling/xfx brand.

Also ditto on the case.

Get a 2500k and an aftermarket heatsink, and overclock it.

Might want to consider upping your budget for your graphics card to a 560 or 6850/6870.

whats the benefit of the 560 or 6850/6870 over the 460 video card. i have heard a lot of good things about them.

The 460s are good cards, no doubt. But the 560 or 6850/70 are faster and uses less power.

Just something to think about. The 460 will still hold its own in games.
