Hello, not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this but here goes...
I have found in my spam emails an email to me but sent from my email address. (I didnt send it) It is an email that says someone saw my profile on line and wants to chat to me.
How could this happen and what can I do about it?
Does this mean that someone is intercepting my email and logging on as me?
I know very little about computers and this has worried me.

I wouldn't worry about it, spammers do that because if they use your actual E-Mail address they know it will get past any spam filters you have setup. They didn't hack/intercept your account, they simply sent an E-Mail that was made to look like it originated from your address.

I have always been told not open any emails you dont recognise but I did open that one.
Should I just delete it (its still sitting in my spam box) or do I need to do anything else first?
