Are the satellite speakers playing? Do you have the bass turned way down?

Hmm I have a pair of harman kardon sound sticks , the satellites work but the bass unit dis not emit any sound.

honesty i am so stupid

plug it in properly as easy as can be how dumb am i

but still it sounds amazing now its running properly

you would be amazed at many many problems are caused by simple errors
