I just had to post this because I lost out on the $1 a GB Gskill Phoenix Pro 60GB last night. Why in the hell must they put these deals up at midnight!!!! That is 2am where I am and they put a "5 per buyer" which is even more insulting because people buy the max to sell on Ebay :/
I have a funny feeling they will pull the same crap today but I must say totally unfair for people who have jobs. Was hoping to snag one before my b-day in a few days ^-^

Oh well....I think tonight will be a good sell on Intel drives. The rep told me "something special is coming out on the 2nd" as I was flirting with her :P It can only be the 120GB G2 so perhaps $1 for the x25-m :P

But, it's meant to be a challenege...and how the hell can you not get up for school after staying up till 11pm??? I can stay up till 3 and get up at 8. then work all day, like 11 hours, on the clock. All I need is a few energy drinks :P

better check the time zone. think its a 4 hr diff living in Mich. More like goto bed and get up early. just a suggestion. i have to go but now thinking it might be 4hrs early. check later to see who replied.

Strange...they didn't do the deals last night. I swear I think they toy with me. Their 11/2 deal on the "newsletter" is still blacked out.

2) write script to auto buy at midnight
3) profit

I know what you mean but they are making money so they are going to keep doing it.

True however even if they did it at noon it still would have sold out and they still would have made money. In fact they could have priced @ $80 and it still would have sold out.

Yup but doing it at midnight makes people hit their site constantly or hit it and keep hitting it until midnight comes. Which probably increases their advertisement revenue.

Just a thought, not sure if it does or not. Plus some deals with vendors may only be valid on certain dates, and the earliest you can sell something on a particular date is midnight.
