Axim on home network

On my home network with my Dell Axim I can view my music files but they will not play. If I copy a song to the Axim it plays fine. I know its probly something simple I'm missing but how can I play my songs over the network?
 
I use to have an Axim x5 with the same problem... Sometimes it would work sometimes it wouldn't. Does it just say Buffering? I think my problem was relating to the drivers I used. Try some other ones fro your card, if you can...
 
No mine doesnt say anything if you are looking at the file over the network it and click on it it doesnt do anything.
 
Weird... What software are you using? Now, I was using 2003(not SE) and had to use Total Commander to actually access the network.
 
Alright, that's a tad different than mine was. Why not try Total Commander and just see how that works? It's a free download.
