Avira Antivir v. AOL Active Virus Shield - Please Help

Hello,

I have on my computer the free Avira Antivir and since now it seems to be working fine. Nevertheless, a friend of mine advised me to replace it by the AOL Active Virus Shield. What do you think I should do? Or do you have some other suggestions for a better free Anti-Virus?

They both have outstanding detection rates and are by far the best of the freebies. I would just stay with Antivir as it contains very strong 'Heuristics' also.
