Audio Connection

Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but whatever.

I'm currently connecting my laptop to the tv using an S-Video->S-Video connector for the video, and a cable which has an audio connector on one end, and splits up into the red and white RCA connectors on the other end.

I'm planning to get a DVI-HDMI cable and i was wondering what would be the best audio connection that i could use?

Usually digital coaxial and/or optical are the best audio connections, but your laptop might not support it.
