audio cable coming from case

will this plug into my sound card? or where? it's 9 pin and hooking up the the headphone/mic jacks on the front of the case.

Yup, most sound cards have a place to plug this into. There are usally a pair of jumpers shorted already so the back ports work.
 
I dont believe you can. Creative's cards usually dont come with headers for use with case audio connectors, so you have to use either just the back ports, or fork out the extra money for one of Creative's external I/O panels.

In case anyone is wondering, here is what his soundcard looks like (if your talking about the one in your sig):

Oh...whoops...didn't realize you had that card... Hehe, there's probably some front pannel that connects into that white connector, but not the standard.
 
With what you have, no. If you get online, you might be able to find the pinout for that connection and see if it'd work, but I doubt it.
 
so what do I do? just not plug that cable in and not use the front ports?

(you should go answer my retarded PSU questions now :P)
